The organization of the International Eco-citizenship Summit (SIDE) is carried out with a constant concern for collaboration and respect for the environment. In fact, eco-citizenship is at the heart of our thoughts, decisions and actions! That is why SIDE and RECYC-QUÉBEC share with you some information that will allow you to live the Summit in an eco-responsible manner:
REDUCE AT THE SOURCE
By reducing waste production, we contribute directly to the reduction of the economic, social and environmental impacts of landfilling residual materials. Several actions count such as:
– Bringing your own reusable bottle.
– Reduce the number of posters on the site.
– Downloading the program directly to your phone.
RECOVERY
The Palais des congrès de Montréal has recycling bins available for you to sort your materials. To make your life easier and to continue learning at home, download the Ça va où? application from RECYC-QUÉBEC.
RESIDUAL MATERIALS
The menus offered during the Summit are designed to reduce your environmental footprint (reusable dishes, no service in single-use containers, etc.) and to avoid food waste. All the food that will not be transformed will be given to the organization la Maison du Père.
TRANSPORTATION
